The perfect holiday in Kelowna BC
"Thank you so much Acker Vacation Homes & Suites. Your accommodation was
perfect and made our family holiday the best in years. We will return
again next year. Your beds are so comfortable and if they could fit in
my suitcase I would have wanted to bring one home with me. Picturesque
views and waking up to the sunrise and songbirds. The BBQ and hot tub,
everything was perfect. Thank you again for your hospitality." |

"Best
Accommodation in Kelowna" by Paul (from
Vancouver) November 2007
(Month Visited)
— "I travel to Kelowna several times per month on business and I have
stayed in just about every hotel/motel. This time my corporate travel
agent suggested that I try Acker Vacation
Homes. The suite she reserved for me was a pleasant surprise as it was
extremely clean and had an amazing view of the Kelowna Valley. There was
a King bed and a computer desk with desktop computer right in the suite.
I'm not sure if every room has a computer but this one did and I was
able to make use of it. The Kelowna International Airport just being 10
minutes away makes it great location for a quick business trip. There
12:00 noon check out was a great help as my flight was later in the
afternoon. Thank you again Acker Suites for
making my stay in Kelowna so comfortable. I will return and make sure
that my travel agent recommends this to my business colleagues." |

Million
Dollar Views, Sooo Relaxing: We arrived
at night and the highway signs directed us up the mountain and right to
the door. Although we were 4 hours late for the 6pm check-in the manager
was very cheerful and walked us to our room and helped us bring in the
luggage. I guess the call to them at 6pm telling them we would be late
helped. This place has an amazing view of the Kelowna Valley and city
lights. Wow! In the morning we were awoken by the birds singing and the
smell of coffee. We went for a soak in the hot tub which even has a view
of the orchards, mountains and Okanagan Lake. We then drove 3 minutes
into the city for a great brunch. We stayed 4 night and during our stay
went hiking around Black Mountain. We will stay here again.
Unique Qualities: Very comfortable king beds and the linen was
great. We even bought a new set of linen from them for our home. |
|
Very Quite, Peaceful and Amazing View. We
arrived at the same time 3 younger couples arrived for their
reservation. We could tell that they were here to party as they had more
beer then luggage. We were delighted when the manager did not allow them
to stay. If your wanting to relax and get away from the downtown parties
this is the place to stay. |

Just a quick note to compliment
Acker Vacation Homes on the cleanliness and comfort of the unit we
rented August 3rd through 6th. While our preference is always to have
separate bathrooms for each bedroom, the unit provided a pleasant change
from ubiquitous hotel or motel rooms! Ian W. |

5 Star Rating: Very peaceful and
relaxing. It's great to be away from the city of Kelowna noise but
yet still see it all. The king beds are the best I have had the pleasure
sleeping on. Acker Vacation Homes is now our new home every time we
visit Kelowna. Demographics: Male between 26 and 55 We Go Places |

5 Star Rating: Best Accommodation
in Kelowna. We loved our 3 day relaxation getaway at Acker Vacation
Homes so much that this is our 2nd time there. The Deluxe King Bed is so
comfortable. It is great to wake up in the morning and to have this
amazing view of the Okanagan Valley. The Hospitality is the best we have
experienced in a long time. We will continue recommend this
accommodation to all of our friends. You have our vote for best
accommodation in Kelowna. Yahoo Travel |

Extremely pleasant. More like a
home than a hotel. All the amenities without that hotel feel because
there are only 5 suites in this house. fantastic view of the city! I'd
stay here every time... winter rates are excellent. Ron from Seattle WA.

Worth the few extra bucks. The
room was one of five units at a local home. Situated on top of bluff
with a great view of the city and lake. Friendly host, always helpful
with questions and needs. Room has a nice decor and very clean. Nice
kitchenette, but no place to really was dishes. Excellent gas burning
grill which we used to full advantage to cook steaks and fish. If you
want to be right next to the lake, then you need to look elsewhere.
Otherwise this is a very nice secluded location, and overall very
relaxing. Recommended by A from Seattle. Expedia & Hotels

Retreat with a View. The perfect relaxing weekend in Kelowna. Did we
mention the unobstructed Lake, Orchards, Mountain & City Views !!! This
Acker Vacation Home has just about every amenity available except a

Like a home away from home
I was pleasantly surprised - my room was a one
bedroom suite, complete with a full kitchen, a desktop computer for
surfing the net, and a large LCD TV in the bedroom. The view from
the eating area and the bedroom was incredible - overlooked the city
and Okanagan Lake.
Traveller's tip on getting the
most out of your stay: I would bring my own pillow next time - the
kingsize pillows supplied were VERY firm.

What a View
The view over the city to the lake and the
mountains is beautiful. At night we watched the city lights twinkle,
and in the morning we watched the sun creep slowly down the
mountains and across the city.
Traveller's tip on dining
For about $100 a couple, Ric’s Grill offered a
great steak, an excellent selection of Okanagan wines, and a
comfortable atmosphere.

Great view!
Our suite (2 bedrooms, bath, and eat-in kitchen)
opened onto a veranda that overlooks Kelowna. Its kitchen was well
appointed. This is a quiet, pleasant place to stay while in the
Okanagan.

Clean, Quiet and Great Value
Quiet area on a hill with a great view of Kelowna.
New construction, very clean and fully furnished - flat screen TV,
DVD player, fireplace, microwave, coffee maker. We stayed in a 2
bedroom suite which had a patio with barbeque, and access to the
backyard with gazebo. Very comfortable, excellent value and highly
recommended, especially for families planning a stay for a few days.

Trip was too short
My wife and I stayed at this location for 3
nights. The view from our patio was probably the best one in
Kelowna. You could see the whole city, the mountains, the lake and
orchards. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was
very friendly and courteous and was always trying to make our stay
more enjoyable. My only complaint was we didn’t stay longer.

Spectacular view
This is like a B&B without the second B. There are
several rooms available in a large house; each room has a private
entrance. It is on the side of one of the mountains overlooking
Kelowna and the lake. Thus, the view from the balcony outside our
room was really excellent. Room was clean and very comfortable. Not
much in the way of hotel services, but we didn’t mind.
